Torchbearer!

I didn't have a clue of what it really meant to bear the Olympic torch. I couldn't imagine the incredible sensation of running through a crowd that is cheering you in such a way....what an experience! All my background as a football player didn't prepare me to all this. I received the torch from Piero Chiambretti and then passed it over to Luciana Littizzetto, both as excited as I was....I realized I was part of a really huge event, Turin is transformed and you can sense the Olympic spirit in the air in the day of the opening. What can I say, from today the winter Olympic games have an extra torchbearer and supporter. God luck to all the athletes, to everyone of the staff and to all the supporters....and may it be a wonderful event!
